Over the years, the fashion and celebrity photography industry has garnered thousands of individual's occupational attention. Most photographers are swept into the business through one big break and then fade, and then there are others who never really make any ground in the business to earn a reputation. Terry Richardson is one photographer who started shooting photography in the 1980's and has continued to stay on the scene even in the present day.

About The Photographer

Richardson experienced his first break into the photography industry in 1994. He has remained a dominant force in the business and has earned a reputation for his snapshot shooting style. Since his development into the industry, many younger photographers have mimicked his snapshot aesthetic and technique.

In addition to working with models, Richardson has become a popular figure amongst celebrities as well. He is photographed with noteable celebrities, such as Dolly Parton, Jared Leto, Mariah Carey, and others. He also pursues regularly an interest in photography that is outside of the fashion world. Richardson uploads photos regularly on NYMag his blog that feature landscape and signs from across the United States.

Past Work

In the early 1990's, Richardson left music photography and began to work in the fashion industry. He shot photos for prominent design brands such as Marc Jacobs, Aldo, Supreme, Yves Saint Laurem, and others. His work appeared in many top magazines, like GQ, Vogue, Vanity Fair, Harper's Bazaar, and Rolling Stone amongst others.
